Hi, I'm Abdul Kuddus, a software engineer with over six years of experience. I build SaaS products across customer-facing interfaces, APIs, background jobs, and deployment. I take features from implementation through release and support.
My current focus is practical AI: generative features in live products, Python-based computer vision and 3D research, and AI-assisted development that helps me move from a task to a reviewed release. I also build independent tools for commerce and marketing.
AI work in practice
My AI work spans features used in a live product and a separate computer vision research workflow. I use AI tools to help deliver software, while reviewing and testing the result myself.
- Production AI at Templately: site and template generation and editing, prompt-driven flows, and streamed progress feedback connected to the product's storefront and APIs.
- Computer vision in Frame Lab: optional AI segmentation proposes eyewear outlines; a review step keeps people in control before Python generates a 3D model from the approved shape.
- AI-assisted engineering: I use Claude, Codex, and the Hermes/Herder harness during implementation, then check behavior and quality before shipping.
